Jeff grew up in Reno, Nevada where he enjoyed exploring the outdoors while fishing and hunting. He moved to OR to complete medical school and then settled in Medford in 1973 where he practiced Psychiatry until he retired in 2015.  He has been an avid fly fisherman but gave up hunting 50 years ago because of a desire not to kill things. Nature photography became his favorite pursuit.  He and his wife, Maggie, have spent many splendid days exploring the West and Alaska for photo opportunities. The Klamath basin has been his favorite area and he is heartbroken over the loss of the refuges.  He commends the Friends of Klamath Basin for all they are doing and wants to be a part of the solution.
